Aurolab is a non-profit organization involved in manufacturing a wide range of ophthalmic consumables and advanced equipments. Founded in 1992 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, a state in South India, Aurolab is an initiative of Aravind Eye Care System, a South India-based multi-location, speciality eye care centre and one of the largest facilities in the world.
Celebrated its 25th year in 2016, Aurolab has grown to be recognized as among the leading names in all essential ophthalmic supplies and equipment. The company’s five full-fledged divisions produce a range of products including Intraocular Lenses, Surgical Sutures, Pharmaceuticals, Surgical Blades and Equipments. Aurolab’s products are exported to over 160 countries, with the vision of providing quality and affordable eye care to all far beyond the boundaries of its place of birth.
The Manufacturing facility of Aurolab is built to meet the WHO GMP (World Health Organization Goods Manufacturing Practices) standard. Most of our products are CE certified and some are USFDA listed.
