Eye camps are essential component in the prevention of blindness in countries like Somalia. Hayle Eye Clinic is dedicated to giving all patients, especially the underprivileged and destitute, excellent and reasonably priced eye care.
With the support from local NGO’s Dr. Abdirahman Hayle is performing more than 1500 surgeries at no cost to patients who cannot afford to pay for the surgery. Eye screening camps are conducted by Hayle eye clinic regularly in Mogadishu and other rural areas mainly to detect and treat the vision problems early. Early signs of serious health problems are also deducted during the screening and the patients are referred to the respective hospitals for further treatment.
Dr. Hayle has been working with manufacturers who have less commercial interest in supplying their goods. Dr. Hayle uses products from established manufacturers such as Aurolab, Zeiss, and others that serve the goal of eliminating needless blindness.
